The hotel was well-kept and quirky with accommodating employees at the reception desk and the lounge. The particularly good and easy location for the price, so close to Gatineau, a coffee shop, and the Byward market and the parliment buildings. Also, close to several restaurants.
Beds were hard.

The staff at the reception desk and lounge are pleasant. the location is marvelous and magnificent, just next door to Ottawa/Gatineau, nearby museums, a farmer's market, and an easy drive to ski hills. - the restaurant is only 400 meters away. - the food is fab, and there is a Boston Pizza close by.

I was staying at Holiday Inn prior to Les Suites Victoria, and Les Suites Victoria was much better. Cleaner, more space, greater amenities, etc.
The location of Les Suites Victoria was a little "sketchy"...I Didn't feel comfortable walking around in the neighbourhood.
